Twill is a weave structure, not a fiber, defined by diagonal ribs on the surface. It's made from cotton, polyester, or blends, giving it durability and a wrinkle-resistant surface prized for pants, jackets, and streetwear.
Lighter twill around 180 GSM suits pants and shirting, mid-weights near 250 GSM work well for hoodies and sportswear, and heavier twill above 350 GSM is best for jackets and workwear. See our weight guides for details.
Not always — twill can be 100% cotton, but our range also includes polyester, cotton-poly, and cotton-poly-spandex blends. Check each product's composition, or read more on our blog.
